The toonmel
Το 1977 έλαβαν χώρα τρία σημαντικά γεγονότα τα οποία έμελλε να αλλάξουν το ρου της Ιστορίας. Αυτά ήταν: ο θάνατος του Έλβις, ο θάνατος του Γκοσινί και η γέννησή μου. Στο νηπιαγωγείο ζωγράφιζα πουλάκια, στο δημοτικό το ίδιο, στο γυμνάσιο το ίδιο,
ώσπου ανακάλυψα ότι είμαι άντρας (;). Μ’ όλα αυτά κατάλαβα πως ένας άλλος τρόπος εκτόνωσης, εκτός από το γνωστό, ήταν να κάνω σκιτσάκια. Έτσι λοιπόν, αφού τελείωσα τη Σχολή Ορνεράκη το 1997, συνεργάστηκα ως σκιτσογράφος με περιοδικά («Penthouse», «Australian Penthouse», «Free», «Maxim», «Uman», «Colt», «Eros Comixxx»), με ένθετο περιοδικό εφημερίδας («Οι Ερευνητές πάνε παντού» της «Καθημερινής»), με παιδικά περιοδικά («Ρόδι», «Αστεράκι», «Ram Kid», «Sportsmania»), με ιστοσελίδες (blowtoons.com, filaki.gr, imeakia.gr), με την τηλεόραση (Mad Tv), με εικονογραφήσεις σε περισσότερα από 15 παιδικά βιβλία των εκδόσεων Άγκυρα, Καστανιώτη κ.ά. Επίσης εργάστηκα ως 2D animator σε διαφημιστικά spots, σε εκπαιδευτικά cd-roms και dvds (για εταιρείες όπως Macmillan, Ηillside Press, Pearson, Cengage, Hamilton House κ.ά.), καθώς και στον κινηματογράφο (τίτλοι animation στις ταινίες «Τα Χρυσά Μήλα των Εσπερίδων» και «Ρόδα, τσάντα και κοπάνα 2010»).
Κλείνοντας (αμάν πια!!!) θα ήθελα να σας πληροφορήσω ότι είμαι ψηλός, ξανθός, γαλανομάτης, με πλούσια σωματικά προσόντα και, αν θέλετε, το πιστεύετε (ελπίζω καθένας-καθεμία για καλό σκοπό).

The toonmel
In 1977, three important events occurred, that would change the course of history. Those were: Elvis’s death, the release of “Star Wars: A New Hope”, and my birth.
In kindergarten I used to draw little penises, in elementary the same, in high school, ditto. Until one day I discovered that I am indeed a man (?). All this made me realize that there was another way of relief, other than the usual one – drawing doodles.
So after graduating from the Ornerakis Apllied Arts School in 1997, I did freelance work as a cartoonist for a number of publications such as men’s magazines (Penthouse Greece, Penthouse Australia, Free, Maxim, Uman, Colt, Eros Comixxx), newspaper inserts (“Oi Erevnites” of “Kathinerini” newspaper), children’s magazines ( Rodi, Asteraki, Ram Kid, Sportsmania) and also for websites (blowtoons.com, filaki.gr, imeakia.gr) and Greek TV (Mad TV channel). Furthermore, I have done illustrations for more than 15 children’s books for Greek publications (Agyra, Kastaniotis and more), worked as a 2D animator in advertising spots, in educational cd-roms and dvds for companies such as Macmillan, Ηillside Press,Pearson, Cengage, Hamilton House, and in cinema as well, doing the animation intro
titles for Greek movies “The Golden Apples of the Hesperides” and “Roda, Tsanta kai Kopana 2010”.
Finally (at last!!!), I would like to inform you that I am tall, blond with blue eyes and well-built, and you can believe it if you want.
